OurPurpose Statement;
Our purpose is to proclaim the love of God for all, and to bring people into His Kingdom
Under our Purpose Statement we will recognise two principles:
Principle 1. The Church's foundation is Jesus, our Lord. To lift our minds beyond buildings, bureaucracies, structures, rules, rituals and regulations. Our eyes to be fixed on Jesus as Saviour of all people.
Principle 2. The Church’s strength is the ministry of all believers.To know that every believer has gifts given by the Holy Spirit. Our spiritual gifts empower all members for God’s work.
Grace and peace in the name of our Lord Jesus. A friendly welcome is extended to all who attend St Jude's. If you are searching for a church home in Tumbarumba, we invite you to come and be a part of our church family. If you are visiting town, we would love to share your visit.
Kids For Christ, is every fortnight on a Friday, 3.15pm. School Years 2-5. Our next gathering will be the 10th of February.
What Church Season Are We In ? We are in the season called Epiphany. The word means " showing forth ". It is used by the church to mean the showing of the young Jesus to the Wise men. Jesus came to save all people - the Wise Men were from the east and not from Israel. Jesus was shown to the Gentiles, the non Jews. The actual date we celebrate this day is the 6th of January. From that day untill the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday the 22nd of February, the season is the season of Epiphany. .
